How does this set up work. In my swap, I want to use the entire ac system from donar car, as well as complete audio system, head/tail/dome lights. I intend to use steering from 96 mustang and cj pony rack and pinion conversion kit. will this body harness allow this? Will I need to do anything with the computer to delete steering wheel locks etc?

Any suggestions on getting information on replacing a 2008 GT500 main engine wiring harness? Mine was in an accident (very cold day and got in race with BMW but didn't realize summer perf tires have no traction in cold). The wiring harness was damaged and supposedly replaced by the dealer. The mechanic just wrapped electrical tape around the damaged harness, and the dealer is a jerk who refuses to admit any wrongdoing. I have a new wiring harness and have the old one 1/2 removed. I have all the Ford manuals but no info on replacing the main wiring harness. I can probably figure it out- have so far, but it is a bundle of snakes with multiple connections. It would be easier if I had an idea where all the leads run! I had to remove ECM and disassemble the fuse box, which freed up a lot of space and made it easier to see wiring. My new harness I can also look at to see the branches and connections.

I have a 2016 F150 with a gen 1 2.7 Ecoboost I bought brand new. With 228K, years of extreme horsepower per liter abuse "200whp per liter at the end" she popped. The previous set up before it blew had ran a best of 12.46 in the quarter mile and 3.98 zero to sixty. Then I added upgraded turbos and it didn't survive it. The stock high miles cast pistons fatigued, pulled a wrist pin out of the skirt then shoved it through the block. The massive low end torque and performance was a blast but now I think I want a change. So 15-17 F150 trucks came with a 2nd gen 5.0 Coyote. So it seems simple enough to do a 2nd gen Coyote swap. Should just need a dropout, engine, transmission, driveshaft, engine and transmission wiring harness and ecu. I figure the harnesses included with the dropout should tie in with the other existing wiring, chassis and dash and work properly. They "2.7 and 5.0" those years had the 6 speed so the instrument cluster should work great too. But honestly I am not sure. The motor and transmission mounts should bolt right up too. All that being said, the easiest to go fast in a Coyote F150 platform would be a gen 3 with direct injection and the 10 speed transmission. But I am afraid that I would run into wiring issues when trying to plug all of the wiring harnesses together. You will have gen 3 harnesses and gen 2 harnesses needing to properly work together. And it will require a different instrument cluster with the 10 speed option. Trying to drop a gen 3 into it seems like I could run into some serious headaches. Alot changed from a 15-17 F150 to a 18-20 F150. Any input?

Definitely good info. My son and I are about to start ordering all the goodies to start building a 23T Bucket kit from Speedway Motors; and so we have something totally different from what you see in the majority of those cars, do a coyote swap. I have a 2013 Ford F150 that may wind up being the donor or we are going to sell it and buy a newer Mustang Coyote and trans out of a wrecking yard with the ECM and wiring harness. The way it looks after watching this video we will mainly need a set of custom made roadster headers. Thanks for what you do!

I'm having a problem resetting my ecm. I cleared the codes. The light is off and the motor running perfectly but the 2 codes won't clear. I've tested all power everything is work but the codes won't reset.. any ideas??

I have just installed a gen 3 coyote in a 95 -F-150 the engine is currently at a 5 degree angle . ( Front is higher by 5 degrees ) What is an acceptable amount of angle?

The part that really resonated (and reality checked) with me is what you want out of it. Is it a cruiser, car shows, etc? Are you just looking for long distance trips? Gen 1 and Gen 2 are just fine.
